Who are we at the clinic?
We are a multidisciplinary team with years of experience working with many different children with a variety of needs. We are comprised of Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapists. We work together as a unified team to help your child grow, blossom, and BLOOM! We need your help in this. We encourage parents and caregivers to be fully invested and an integral part of our team to best meet the needs of your child and help them achieve their full potential.
What do we do?
We provide speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy sessions within the clinic space with a holistic approach. The services and frequency are determined by your child’s IEP or IFSP. If your child receives multiple services, we do our best to schedule their therapies back-to-back. Within each session, we work together to best create an environment that helps your child flourish. We have a variety of sensory equipment including swings, spinning boards, lights, music and a foam pit to further their therapy needs.
How does it work?
For our preschoolers, we ask you to drop off and pick up your child at their scheduled time. We are well versed in working with children who have transition or separation difficulties to ensure successful therapy sessions. For our early intervention kiddos, we will determine what is best for you and your child to make the best progress and keep you involved in sessions. We will provide daily progress updates, as well as skills we encourage to be carried over at home. We welcome questions!
Need help getting started?
Are you wondering if your child qualifies for services through early intervention (0-3) or preschool (3-5) and not sure how to get started. We offer evaluations for all services at our clinic. In order to set up an evaluation for early intervention, there is an online referral system through Monroe County Early Intervention. For a child starting 3 months before their third birthday or under the age of five, you would need to reach out to your school district in order to request an evaluation. Within your referral to early intervention or preschool state you would prefer the evaluation done at Room to Bloom Therapy, if that is what you wish.
Private Pay:
In addition to providing services for early intervention and preschool. We also provide additional private pay services within the clinic for PT, OT, and Speech. If a child does not qualify, ages out of pre-school, or requires supplemental therapy in addition to their IEP or IFSP, private pay is a great option! Private pay sessions can be used to carry over DMI intensives, toe walking or gait analysis, sensory regulation, reflex integration, handwriting, articulation, and more!!!
