Early Intervention Development Group:

Our Early Intervention developmental groups run Monday-Thursday at Golisano Autism Center. We offer three groups at 7:55 am, 10:30 am, and 1:05 pm. Each class runs for two hours and has six children and five adult staff including: a Special Education Teacher, Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, and Teacher’s Assistant. We transition through a schedule which consists of: play time, art, playground or gross motor time, circle time, and snack. We utilize the state of the art facilities at Golisano Autism Center. During these times, children  also receive their individual therapies based on their needs and goals. These services are delivered within the classroom or therapy spaces. We work as a collaborative team to meet the individual needs of our students. The developmental group format also allows for virtual team meetings once a month. These meetings assist families with their needs and goals within the home, as well as, share progress in the developmental group.
